You can at any time contact our privacy supervisor and exercise your following rights:

Purposes of data processing by responsible body and third parties

We process your personal data only for purposes listed in the present Privacy Policy. We undertake no transfer of your privacy data to third parties for purposes other than stated in this document. We only pass your personal data onto third parties if:

  • you explicitly authorized us to do so if needed,
  • data processing is necessary for contract implementation between you and us,
  • data processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,

data processing is necessary for safeguarding justified or legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have a predominant protection seeking interest in non-disclosure of your data.

 

Deleting or blocking your data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Hence we save your privacy data only as long as this is necessary for achieving the purposes mentioned above or as long as is in manifold ways determined or permissible by law. After the purpose of saving your data becomes irrelevant or one of the determined deadlines is reached we routinely block or delete your data in accordance with the current legal regulations.

Provision of fee-based services requires us to collect additional data such as payment related information in order to properly execute your order. We save these data in our system as long as the data retention regulations dictate.

Newsletter

Based on your explicit authorization we regularly send you our newsletter or similarly intended information by email to the email address you submitted in the registration process.

To receive the newsletter it suffices to submit your email address. After your subscription for our newsletter we only use the collected data for this purpose. You might also be contacted by email with regard to circumstances that are relevant for the newsletter service or for the registration procedure (e.g. changes in newsletter offer or technical issues).

For effective registration we require a valid email address. In order to make sure that the registration has indeed been done by the email address’ owner we use the „double-opt-in“ procedure. During this we log the ordering of the newsletter, dispatch of the confirmation email and receipt of the reply requested in that confirmation email. No further data are collected. The gathered data are only used for the newsletter distribution and not sent to any third parties.

You can revoke your permission for our saving and using your privacy data for the newsletter service at any time. To do so, use the link to unsubscribe to be found in each newsletter. Beside that you can also at any time unsubscribe directly on our website or tell us this wish by phone or email; our contact details you will find at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Contact form

Contacting us with any question by email or through our contact form you give us your voluntary permission to communicate with you. For that you need a valid email address. This serves the assignment of your request and of our subsequent response. Stating further details is optional. The data you communicate are saved for the purpose of processing your inquiry as well as for possible follow-up questions. After your request has been answered and dealt with, your privacy data will automatically be deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web-based analytic service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses the so-called „cookies“, that are text files, that are saved onto your computer’s hard disk and enable analysis of how you use the website. This information on surf behavior is generated by cookies and is normally sent to a Google’s server in the USA and saved there. Because of activation of IP anonymization on such websites though, before the transfer your EU IP address is shortened by Google. Only in exceptional cases your full IP address is sent to a Google’s server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website Google uses this information to assess your use of the website in order to report website related activities and to provide the website operator with further relevant services relating to the functioning of the website or to the using of the Internet. The IP address detected by Google Analytics with the help of your browser is not brought together with other Google data.

The purposes of data processing are evaluation of surf behavior and activities on the website as well as compilation of according reports. On this basis further relevant services can then be provided. The processing is conducted due to justified interest of the website operator.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to be able to correctly and attractively display our contents in all browsers our website uses script and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred in the cache of your browser to prevent repetitive loading. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or blocks the access, all contents will be displayed using a standard font.

Addressing script or font libraries automatically triggers connection to the operator of the given library. It might be in this case – although as of today unclear if and for what purposes – that the library operator also collects some data.

Use of Adobe Typekit

We use Adobe Typekit for visual design of our website. Typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. which gives us access to their font library. For the integration of the fonts we use your browser has to establish connection to an Adobe server in the USA and download the font we need for our website. Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic data. While visitors are using Google Maps Google also collects, processes and utilizes information on use of map functions by them. Embedded YouTube videos

In some of our websites we integrate Youtube videos. Operator of the according plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a website containing a YouTube plug-in, you trigger a connection to servers of Youtube. Youtube will thus be informed what websites you are visiting. When you are signed in to your Youtube account, Youtube can recognize your personal surf behavior. This can be prevented if you log out from your Youtube account in advance.

Whenever you start a Youtube video, the operator will use cookies to collect information on your surf behavior.

If you do not want to be confronted with cookies when watching YouTube videos, deactivate saving of cookies for the Google Ad software. Youtube saves also non-personal user data in other cookies though. If you do not want it, you can block saving of cookies in your browser.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. When you land on our website through an ad by Google, Google Adwords saves a cookie on your computer. A cookie for conversion tracking is saved when the user clicks on an ad by Google. This cookie becomes invalid in 30 days and is not meant for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, so we and Google can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has so been forwarded to our website. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore cookies cannot be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The Information collected with the help of the conversion cookies is utilized for calculating conversion statistics for the AdWords customers, which decided to use conversion tracking. Customers will know the total number of users which have clicked on their ad and have been forwarded to a website equipped with a conversion tracking tag. But they will not receive any information identifying any of those users personally.

If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can either reject saving of the according cookies in your browser settings, which generally deactivates any automatic saving of cookies, or by the means of settings make your browser block cookies through the domain “googleleadservices.com”.

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookie as long as you do not want to have any measuring data recorded. If you delete all cookies in your browser, you will have to install the according opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses a Google remarketing function. This function presents website visitors within the Google advertising web network their individual interest related ads. In the browser of the website visitor a cookie is saved that recognizes the visitor when they load a website belonging to the Google’s web advertising network. On these websites the visitor can be presented advertisements which refer to the contents that the visitor previously loaded on the websites using the Google remarketing function.

According to their own information Google collects no privacy data during this process. We reserve the right to alter, adjust or change this Privacy Policy to continually meet the current legal requirements or to adapt it to changes in our services, e.g. in case of a launch of a new service. The new Privacy Policy shall then be valid starting from your new visit.
